What is TP1 Form?
- TTP1 is an income tax form which staff would submit to employers to ensure the MTD takes into account the necessary rebates and deductions.
- TThe employer is required to process the application and allow the employee to make an allowable deduction claim and rebate not less than twice in the current year.
- TEmployees are allowed to claim deductions that have been spent up to the allowable limit in the same year.
Important Note:
- TP1 form is merely base on declaration by employee. No verification of information is required.
- TEmployee do not need to submit any supporting document such as receipts.
- TEmployer have to safe keep TP1 form up to 7 years for audit purpose.
