LHDN has released new form format of CP22 [Pin.1/2021]
NOTIFICATION OF NEW EMPLOYEE
What is CP22 Form?
- CP22 Form is a Notification of New Employee form.
- An employer must notify LHDN branch within one month on the new employee’s commencement date.
- An individual who is subject to or may subject to income tax.
Non-compliance may liable to:
- fine of not less than RM200 and not more than RM2,000;
- Or Imprisonment not exceeding 6 months; Or both
- The employer also be responsible for any tax due from the mentioned employee.
