What is Member Investment Scheme (MIS)?
- Members may transfer part of Account 1 savings to invest in enhance retirement savings
- Transfers up to a maximum of 30% of the amount above the Basic Savings in Account 1 (for members aged 55 years and below)
- Transfer to appointed Fund Management Institution (FMI) or Institutional Unit Trust Adviser (IUTA)
Siapakah yang layak menerima BKP?
- Kategori penerima yang layak menerima BKP adalah berdasarkan data Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP) dan Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO)
- tidak perlu membuat sebarang permohonan kerana semakan kelayakan akan dibuat berdasarkan data KWSP dan PERKESO
What are the investment eligibility?
Age below 55
- Malaysians / Permanent Residents / Non-Malaysians (registered as EPF Members)
- Members may transfer their savings to invest as follows:
- Up to a maximum of 30% of the total Basic Savings surplus in Account 1
- The minimum investment amount is RM1,000.00
- Calculation formula: (Account 1 – Basic Savings) x 30%
- Application can be made through an FMIβs Agent / Counter and i-Akaun (Member)
Age 55 & above
- Malaysian / Permanent Residents / Non Malaysian (registered as EPF Members)
- Investment amount is a withdrawal from Akaun 55 or Akaun Emas
- Member may withdraw the savings as follows:
- Any amount in Akaun 55 or Akaun Emas by retaining RM1,000 in the account
- Not applicable to Basic Savings
- Minimum investment amount is RM1,000
- Application can be made through i-Akaun (Member) only
What is the Investment frequency?
Application through FMI’s Agent / Counter
- Investment can be made at anytime
- Allow to invest in multiple FMI/IUTA and unit trust fund, appointed by EPF
- Only one FMI per application

- Investment can be made at anytime
- Allow to invest in multiple FMI/IUTA and unit trust fund, appointed by EPF
- Only one FMI/IUTA per application
How to apply?
Application through FMI’s Agent / Counter
- submitted through any appointed FMI’s agent/counter
- FMI will submit the application to EPF for processing
Application through i-Invest Platform
- Member has to register as an user of i-Akaun (Member)
- Member has to register mobile phone number for receiving the TAC number
How much is the initial sales charge?
Application through FMI’s Agent / Counter
- up to 3% per buy transaction
Application through i-Invest Platform
- up to 0.5% per buy transaction
