Malaysia’s Government has announced to ๐ข๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฌ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐๐ ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐,๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก and it will be implemented nationwide for certain companies effective ๐๐๐ฒ ๐, according to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Malaysia’s Minimum Wages Order 2022 has been gazetted and provides:
- Monthly minimum wage at RM1,500 starting 1 May 2022
- Employers with less than 5 employees are exempted until ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐
- Employers carrying out professional activities are ๐๐๐ exempted even if they have less than 5 employees
