LHDN has released new form format of​ CP22 [Pin.1/2021]

NOTIFICATION OF NEW EMPLOYEE  ​

What is CP22 Form ?​

• CP22 Form is a Notification of New Employee form .
• An employer must notify LHDN branch within one month on the new employee’s commencement date​.
• An individual who is subject to or may subject to income tax. ​

​Non-compliance may liable to: 

• fine of not less than RM200 and not more than RM2,000;​
• Or Imprisonment not exceeding 6 months; Or both​
• The employer also be responsible for any tax due from the mentioned employee. ​
