Some company required the employees to work on Saturday, so what do the company do if public holiday falls on Saturday and the staff still have to work? Does the OT start after working hours?
The normal working hours on Saturday are 5 hours and if the PH falls on Saturday, the company has to pay two days' additional wages for work done on the public holiday.
If required to work overtime beyond 5 hours you have to pay three times the hourly rate of pay.
