Starting from 1st January 2023 onwards, all the working hours have been reduced from 48 hours to 45 hours! Besides, employees are allowed to apply for flexible working arrangements!

However, for the working hours, the company is not allowed to extend breaks or rest time to meet the hour requirement.

 

As for flexible working arrangements, employees can vary the hours of work, days of work, or place of work. But, they would need to inform the employers 60 days in advance and the employers have the right to refuse the application.
